Nutrition. This product provides the plant with calcium, zinc, boron and molybdenum that cover the nutritional demands when applied via foliar and act as inducers of vegetative development, induce good enzyme functionality and give the plant thicker walls, membranes that can better support the cellular content and create a very strong support structure.

Calcium is absorbed in the form of Ca+2 cation via apoplast (channels that remain between cell walls and adjacent cells, young roots not suberized), that is, passively via xylem, it moves with the current of transpiration; in the leaves there is greater transpiration, so the accumulation of calcium is greater in these, especially in the older leaves there is greater amount of calcium for the time of transpiration that has been made, for having greater specific surface and greater stomatal density. Younger leaves, flowers, fruits and meristems demand more calcium because transpiration is lower in these parts of the plant and as they develop, the need for this element is greater.

Zinc is absorbed in the form of Zn2+ or, in high pH conditions, as ZnOH+. It moves very slowly within the plant and in the presence of other elements (excess phosphorus, iron and magnesium) its absorption can be inhibited, so the quantity of each of the elements must be balanced for better utilization.

Support structures.  

The plant cell wall is not totally solid as it seems, it is permeable, although with selectivity and specificity to the substances that enter and leave the cell, it is made up of cellulose, hemicellulose, proteins, lipids and it is the union bridge for the acid and neutral pectins that contain calcium in their conformation. This gives stability, firmness and structure to the cell wall, calcium serves as a support to maintain the structure and cell wall unit. Zinc strengthens cell membranes and is part of the proteins, which help the stability of ribosomes, therefore, cell fluids are not lost by having a strong cell membrane. Boron is part of the pollen tubes that give them firmness so that they are not easily damaged and the pollen becomes fertile.
